People often ask me what my biggest money makers online are (at the time of writing - it’s topbux a PTC (paid to click) site). The key to making a large amount of money online isn’t having one dominant program though - it’s all about diversifying.

I was talking to a buddy of mine last week and he was devastated because a program he was making upwards of $500 a month in went tits up and his biggest income stream was gone. I asked him what his next biggest stream was - $50 a month he replied.

It’s craziness to put all of your eggs in one basket like that - not only is it crazy but it’s also extremely inefficient. A lot of the people in his downline were friends he had referred from real life or that he knew well online. Finding people you know who are interested and willing in making money online is a gold mine - once you get them onto a good program they are hooked. If they were interested in program A and they made money through it (they obviously did make money, or else he wouldn’t be pulling $500 a month from it) then they would be interested in programs B-Z too.

After a bit of chatter he asked me what program he should get his contacts into next. My advice to him is as follows - find 10-15 programs that you like and can reach the payout level fairly quickly (within two months) then build a simple landing page* for each program then let your friends and family about each and everyone. Apologize for the other program going tits up and explain that it’s part of making money online and that this time they won’t be stuck in the same trap because they will have several programs on the go at once.

*When I say simple - I mean simple. Include a few screen shots and an easy to follow explanation of how it works and more importantly what you get paid for. Don’t highlight text, make it a different color or any of that other crap. Marketing to your friends and family is a lot different from strangers.

I’ll keep you updated with how my friend goes, I’d be surprised if he isn’t making $500+ by the end of next month.

Make Money With Kassper - Kassper is fairly new to the blogging sphere, but he has already shown to his readers that he knows his stuff. SEO (search engine optimization) is definitely not my strong suit - but Kassper’s SEO series breaks it down and makes it easy to implement. I have a few gripes with Kassper - he doesn’t post content often enough and there is a lack of unique ways to make money online. After saying that - the rest of his content more than makes up for these deficiencies.

On a side note, because I wrote this review I’ll now get over 50 backlinks from Kassper. That can’t hurt my SEO.

CashCrate is one of the leading PTS (paid to sign up)/PTT (paid to try). Unlike most in this industry, these guys have spent some time making the site look clean and user friendly. Two thumbs up for making an effort.

CashCrate takes it one step further than good layout, they make it easy to see what offers are available to you. For example, I live in Australia so very few offers are available, usually PTS (paid to sign up) sites have a disclaimer above each offer saying “This offer is only available to US and Canadian residents”. This is fine, but when there are literally thousands of offers it’s a pain in the neck to sort through them all. CashCrate only shows offers which are available to your geographical region.

If you don’t live in the US or Canada you aren’t going to be rolling in the money from CashCrate. But they have a generous referral program that pays 20% for first level referrals and 10% for second level . This also scales up - so the more referrals you have the larger cut you get. Here is the break down:

Bronze - 0 Active Referrals - 20% First Level, 10% Second Level
Silver - 50 Active Referrals - 25% First Level, 10% Second Level
Gold - 150 Active Referrals - 25% First Level, 15% Second Level
Platinum - 300 Active Referrals - 30% First Level, 15% Second Level
Elite - 500 Active Referrals - 30% First Level, 20% Second Level

These active referrals must be from the U.S and they don’t post the activity requirements.

I know what you’re asking yourself. “That’s nice and all, but how much can I expect to make?”

As per usual that depends on how much time you are willing to put in and  more importantly if you have a credit card. All the deals which need a credit card pay significantly more ($15+). Most of my US friends with credit cards have reported making an easy $100+ in their first month then it slowing down to $10 or so per month. But it really depends on how active you and your referrals are. More importantly, it matters how active you are in getting referrals.

Even if you don’t have a credit card, you can still make some serious coin by completing surveys and trial offers which don’t require a CC. If you aren’t already part of the PTS (paid to sign up)/PTT (paid to try) community, then CashCrate is the place to start.

If you don’t already have Firefox, then you’re going to be thankful that you read this post. If you do, you’re still going to be thankful.

When you start you’re money making quest, the first thing you’re going to notice is that you have to fill in forms. Lots of forms. This isn’t very fun what so ever, in-fact it’s the thing I hate most. I used to have notepad open with all my regular information: e-mail address, first + last name, contact phone # and address. This saved quite a bit of time, but it was still rather annoying copying and pasting.

The other day I was playing around with some of Google’s referral products and decided to install the Google tool bar for Firefox.

I didn’t take much notice of the toolbar at first. It’s mostly junk, or stuff Firefox already includes like a spell checker. Then I was filling out a form and I hovered over one of the boxes and it said something along the lines of “Google’s AutoFill feature can fill this form out for you”. I clicked the AutoFill button and I had to fill out the standard things, but then I had to do was click it again and it AutoFilled it for me. Now whenever I am presented with a form - I click that magical button and bingo bango, it’s done for me.

works on the premise that driving traffic through social networks (currently digg and stumbleupon) is a more cost effective (and some say efficient) than traditional online and off line advertising.

Simply submitting a site to one of these social networks will drive virtually no traffic to the site at all, to get any significant amount your story or article needs to be ‘dugg’ to the digg front page or ‘thumbsed up’ in the stumbleupon tool bar.

Digg is a short burst of traffic, usually in the realm of 20,000+ visitors and stumbleupon is fairly consistent traffic and can see similar visitor numbers over periods of months.

Getting ‘diggs’ and ‘thumbs up’ can be a very difficult task, especially when you consider you need 100+ diggs to see any substantial traffic. That’s where subvert and profit comes into play, advertisers pay them and their army of diggers and stumblers to get their stories/articles/press releases to the top of the pile.

Subvert and profit compensates their workers, with points. Just kidding with you, they pay you cold hard cash money. (Well, as cold as electronic paypal money can get). You get paid per ‘list’ of stories you digg or stumble, each list you complete is worth $0.5 (that’s fifty cents). This isn’t going to pay your mortgage payments for you and you’re definitely not going to retire at 35 by doing this. But multiple income streams are the key to building up a decent monthly online income.

They have a decent amount of ‘lists’ to complete (usually 1-2 per day), but you have to be fairly quick before the other users get to them first. Your best bet is to use a valid e-mail address, as they e-mail you when lists are available to complete.
The vitals:

Program name: Subvert and profit

They pay you: $0.5 (or fifty cents) per ‘list’ (a list is a set of 4-5 stories which you must digg or thumb up)

Referrals: 1 level, 20% for diggers/stumblers 10% for advertisers

Payout level: $10, through paypal only

Payment received: No, yet to reach payout level.

Subvert and profit is one of my favorite online money making programs that I’ve tried so far. In less than a week I’ve nearly reached the $10 payout level without any referrals. I am sure once I start pushing this program via IM programs I’ll be able to get a constant payout of $10+ per week.

This blog is dedicated to helping users make money online (with a few offline tips thrown in) I was spurred into making this money making blog because it’s something which the internet is sorely lacking. Problogger.net (Darren) - “helping bloggers make money”: I actually met Darren a few months ago at a Melbourne bloggers meet-up and it was refreshing to see how approachable and level headed this guy was. Darren was responsible for getting me into blogging in the first place, I’d be interested for a few months and his insights finally got me to put words into action (or in this case, words onto word press). He also provides great tips & tricks about how to get readers, convert those readers into regular readers and then into subscribers. I look to him for most of my blogging news and updates too, as he seems to have his pulse on the industry.

Doshdosh.com (Maki) - Helping you make money online: Maki mainly focuses on blog money making opportunities and really concerns himself and his readers with driving traffic and turning that traffic into regular readers (feed and e-mail) which I find extremely helpful. He also throws in the odd money making opportunity, including reviews of sites like myLot and other PTP (pay to post), PTS (pay to surf) and PTC (pay to click) programs. If you’re interested in unique ways of driving traffic and income, go check out Maki. His feed is actually the first thing I read in my day.

Dotmyspot.com (Unsure of author) - “MakeMoney Online at Home Scam and Legit Guide”: I found this site during a search engine crawl one day and while it’s not exactly the nicest site to look at it does have a good look at a lot of PTR (Pay to review) sites. As well as a few advertising reviews, I believe the author doesn’t have English as a first language but still does an excellent job at getting their message across.

Carlocab.com (Carl) - Make money online with a 13-Year old: I think Carl is actually 14 now, but don’t hold that against the little feelah. I like to read his blog because he is basically my target audience, young and money hunger. If you want to get stuck in, I’d suggest the following posts - 10 killer ways to forum success, search engine optimization tips and getting .edu and .gov backlinks easily. Go check him out now.
